Information we gather
- Repipe request form entries: your name, phone number, ZIP code, how many bathrooms you have, your current pipe, and any notes.
- When you call our line, we collect your number, the call's time and length, plus a recording if the call states it may be recorded.
- Our servers log the pages you view, plus your browser type, your IP address, and when you visited. Advertising cookies are not used, and neither are third-party analytics.
- In your own browser (local storage), the calculator stores your latest answers, so they're waiting when you return. Those saved answers aren't sent to us.
Ways your information gets used
We use your details to connect you with a plumbing company that can price and do your job, to keep the site working and safe, and to stop spam and abuse.
How we share with plumbing companies
One or more plumbing and repipe companies serving your area receive your request or call, so that they can contact you with a price. In return, those companies may pay us a referral fee. California law can treat this as selling or sharing personal information. Service providers under contract also host the site and process our calls. When the law requires it, we hand over information.
How long we keep your data
We hold requests and call records for 24 months at most and then delete them. After 90 days, server logs get deleted.
Your privacy rights
In some states, among them California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas, you have the right to ask what data we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to stop its sale or sharing. Using these rights won't change how we treat you. An authorized agent can make requests for you.
